Naomh Colmcille and Carndonagh U12s served up two excellent games of football this evening, with both sides showcasing great skill, energy, and enthusiasm throughout.
There was plenty to admire across both matches, with strong teamwork on display and some excellent score-taking from all involved. The games were played in a great spirit, reflecting the positive environment at this level of the game.
Also pictured is Jack Kennedy, who took charge of one of the games as referee. Jack is a qualified ‘Go Games’ referee, part of an initiative introduced by Croke Park to encourage more young people to take up officiating.
Reports from Páirc Colmcille suggest he delivered a first-class performance, handling the game with confidence and composure. It was a fine display from the young official, and perhaps a sign of more to come in the future
