Naomh Colmcille Celebrate Daniel Clarke’s London Player of the Year Honour

Naomh Colmcille are proud to congratulate Daniel Clarke on a remarkable achievement following an outstanding season.
After being named North London Shamrocks Senior Player of the Season for 2026, Daniel has now added another major accolade to his name, being crowned London Senior Football Player of the Year. It is a fantastic honour and a fitting recognition of his performances and consistency throughout the year.
Daniel’s success will also resonate strongly back home, where he played a key role in Naomh Colmcille’s historic 2017 Ulster Championship victory and memorable run to the All-Ireland semi-final. Those moments remain a proud chapter in the club’s history, and it is great to see him continuing to excel on a bigger stage.

There was also a notable appearance from his brother Richard Clarke last weekend, who lined out for Fraservalley Gaels in Canada in their annual Rookie vs Veterans game. Richard, who captained Naomh Colmcille to their first Junior Championship title in nearly two decades in 2010, showed that there is still plenty left in the tank.
The club extends its congratulations to Daniel on this well-deserved recognition, and to both Daniel and Richard for continuing to represent Naomh Colmcille with pride.
