Naomh Colmcille CLG – Donegal

There was confusion today at Castlefin as Burt failed to show up for the Division 4 promotion play off. With the referree, linesmen and officials from the County Board present, Naomh Colmcille took to the field expecting to play their near neighbours for a place in Division 3 in front of a sizeable crowd.

However, as throw in approached, it became clear that Burt were not going to field and the Naomh Colmcille team and spectators left the ground.

UPDATE:
The County Board have officially awarded the game to Naomh Colmcille so Naomh Colmcille will play Intermediate Football in Division 3 in 2011.
