Reserves out of Junior B Championship after defeat to Naomh Ultan

Naomh Colmcille played Naomh Ultan this afternoon in the Junior B Championship semi final at O’Donnell Park.

Naomh Colmcille didn’t really get going in the first half and were unable to recreate the excellent form shown against Malin and St Michael’s in the previous rounds. Naomh Ultan had the lion’s share of posession and racked up a score of 1-08 to 0-02 in the first half.

Naomh Colmcille improved in the second half, but by that stage the damage had been done and Naomh Ultan ran out winners by 2-14 to 0-04

Nevertheless, the reserves can hold their heads high after a great run in the Championship, and will now look for a strong finish in their remaining league games.
