Naomh Colmcille CLG – Donegal

Naomh Colmcille Under 8s and Under 10s took part in the St Columba’s Day Blitz tournament yesterday morning at Celtic Park Derry.

In the blazing heat, the teams each played two games against the hosts, Doire Cholmcille, and St Colm’s of Drom, Co Derry. The Under 8s won both their matches and the Under 10s won one and drew one. The players enjoyed the games and acquitted themselves very well, with some excellent performances. Each player was presented with a well-deserved medal at the end of the tournament.

There was even a coaches game at the end of proceedings, which was particularly enjoyed by the young players, who got a chance to shout at the coaches from the sidelines!
